Pete Siena

Associate Attorney

Pete Siena is an associate attorney at Mueller, Lawson & Frobish, P.C.  He was born in Chicago and raised in the northwestern suburb of Wheeling. He graduated from the University of Illinois in Chicago in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Psychology.  In 1999 he graduated from the DePaul College of Law with his Juris Doctorate.  After graduation he moved to Ottawa, Illinois and was licensed to practice law in November of 1999.  He has remained a resident of Ottawa, Illinois since 1999.

Experience

Pete began his career in the traffic division at the LaSalle County State’s Attorney’s Office in 1999.  He moved to the juvenile division in 2000 and began prosecuting misdemeanor offenses and felony domestic violence cases in 2002.  He remained in the domestic violence division until 2005 when he was assigned to prosecute misdemeanor and felony drug offenses.

In June 2010, Pete continued his career as a prosecutor in Grundy County.  He remained in Grundy County for over 12 years prosecuting felony offenses.  Over that 12-year period he was involved with a variety of cases ranging from possession of a controlled substance and theft to Aggravated Battery and Murder.  Pete has spent over 20 years practicing criminal law and is extremely familiar with all facets of the criminal justice system.  He has tried numerous jury trials to verdict.

Pete joined the firm in July of 2022 and has been practicing criminal defense as well as some civil matters.  He is now involved with numerous areas of the law including the following:

  • Criminal Defense for Felony, Misdemeanor and/or Traffic Matters
  • Forfeitures of Property by Law Enforcement
  • License Reinstatement
  • Expunging or Sealing prior Criminal Records
